Exaktas Commitment to Sustainability and Environmental Responsibility
A clean and healthy future is our shared responsibility.
We also have a living CSR document with clear and explicit guidelines for Exakta's responsibility.
In 2020, we appointed a group to map our operations in relation to Sustainability and Agenda 2030.
We chose to analyze based on the seven main areas included in ISO 26000: Organizational Governance, Human Rights,
Labor Practices, Environment, Fair Operating Practices, Consumer Issues, and Community Involvement.
It is also based on this standard that we present our work.
The foundation for a strategic sustainability effort is built by identifying what we have, how we measure and follow up, and which focus areas we want to prioritize.
As we document and implement our work, we present the information here so that you can follow our sustainability efforts.
We have chosen this transparency and want to encourage a dynamic sustainability effort with input from our employees and stakeholders.
If you have ideas and thoughts on sustainability, you are welcome to send us an email. A sustainable collaboration, simply put!

QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENT
Since January 2017, the Environmental and Quality Manager has been part of the parent company to better establish a common policy across the entire group.
The goal is for all companies within the Exakta Group to have a third-party certified quality and environmental management system.
Quality and environment are inseparable, and by maintaining high production quality, we reduce complaints.
This is good for the environment as we do not need to perform reprints and additional shipping. Within Exakta Print, our largest production company,
we work in partnership towards common environmental goals, thereby increasing both parties' chances of achieving them together.
CERTIFIED PRODUCTION
Traceable paper from sustainably managed forests is an important part of Exakta's long-term environmental efforts.
Exakta is certified according to ISO14001, holds the Nordic Swan Ecolabel for cleaner production, and can FSC® label printed materials to ensure
sustainable forest management. Our company is registered with the NPA registry and takes full producer responsibility.
It is also possible to offset the CO² emissions caused by your printed material. The electricity we consume comes
from E.ON and is origin-certified by the Swedish national grid.
WORK ENVIRONMENT RESPONSIBILITY
CSR, or social responsibility, is an important and self-evident part of Exakta's view on people and employees. It is in our interest to promote diversity and harness
the various experiences, qualities, and collective knowledge of our employees. Within Exakta, there are approximately 260 employees, and we welcome diversity in all
areas, whether it be ethnic, age-related, or people with disabilities. It is our opinion and experience that diversity is good for business.
Clear and explicit guidelines for Exakta's responsibility are described in our CSR document, Gender Equality and Work Environment Policy,
Policy against Harassment and Offensive Treatment. You can access this by emailing HR.

Climate Compensation - GOLD STANDARD
A global non-profit foundation started by several organizations, including Greenpeace and
WWF. The foundation was developed as a quality mark for climate compensation projects with a focus on strict guidelines and requirements
for sustainable development in climate compensation. It is currently the only certification standard approved and trusted by more than
80 international environmental organizations. With the help of Gold Standard, we can ensure that our chosen project delivers verified climate benefits
and also meets at least three of the UN's global goals for sustainable development.
