The history of Exakta Group begins in 1976 in Hässleholm.
For many years, school yearbooks formed the foundation of our production. In the wake of the first financial crisis, we recognized the necessity to look ahead and find new paths forward. This led to the recruitment of Håkan Larsson as the new CEO in 1998. Exakta's growth subsequently increased continuously, both organically and through acquisitions.
Part of the strategy was to look at other companies to stimulate growth. Contrary to common practice in the industry, we chose to merge two companies, together with the owners of the Malmö printing company "Printing", to create a new strong company named Exakta Printing. This happened in 2009. In the following years, new companies have been both acquired and formed within the group.
In 2014, it was time for another major step as Patrick Andersson, owner of the renowned Tryckfolket AB, founded in 1979, became a part-owner of the Exakta Group. This created a new well-consolidated ownership structure under the corporate name Exakta Group AB.
The Exakta Group is a privately-owned company experiencing strong growth and expanding both organically and through acquisitions. Exakta operates in Malmö, Borås, Lidköping, Karlstad, Stockholm, and Hässleholm, with around 260 employees and a turnover of approximately 600 million SEK. The group consists of several subsidiaries with various specialized focus areas.
Exakta has stepped into the future by continuously adapting to our customers' current and future needs. We are a constantly learning organization, and with each acquisition, we have made it a priority to harness the skills and experiences of our new colleagues. Our strength lies in our breadth, enabling us to meet our customers' needs at different stages.
